“Ritchies Stores pride themselves on being an environmentally
friendly company and are very interested in changing our current pest control
program over to an environmentally friendly chemical-free system.”
“With Food Safety and OH&S compliance being a huge part of our industry we are
continually looking at safer alternatives for our employees and customers. We
believe that Pest Free is a safe alternative whilst remaining an effective
method of pest control throughout our supermarkets.”
“Plug-In Pest Free units were placed into stores that were problem areas and we
are staggered with the effectiveness of the units. The results have been very
positive from the trials conducted over the past months.”
“It is our intent to complete a roll out program of the Pest Free units
throughout Victoria from November.”
VCS Marketing have successfully installed PLUG-IN PestFree
Electronic Pest Management Systems throughout the entire brand of Michael’s Supa
IGA Supermarkets.
"I
Len Morabito am the Operations Manager for Michael’s SUPA IGA group of
stores. "
"Recently Chrissy Groat from VCS Marketing approached me with
a product called PestFree which is a plug in Electronic Pest Management System.
"
"Initially, I viewed this product with a certain amount of
scepticism but decided to purchase and trial the product none the less. "
"As we still had two months left on our chemical pest
controller, we decided to allow them to complete their work commitment to us,
which meant we had both pest control options in place. "
"After the first month, I met up with our Chemical Pest
controller. He seemed totally bewildered as to the fact there had been no
activity whatsoever in any of his bait stations throughout the stores. He said
”I’m totally amazed, I don’t know what’s going on, this has never happened
before”. I, being amused, didn’t mention the fact that we had installed the
PestFree Electronic devices that same month. "
"The second month, the same thing happened. I personally
inspected all the bait stations and came up with the same result. It was quite
evident that the rodents had now moved out, with no signs of activity
whatsoever. Hence, the cancellation of our Chemical Pest Control Contracts… for
up to the next 15 years!! "
"For any store owner/operator, I would highly recommend you
seriously consider installing PestFree Electronic Pest Management Systems
throughout your stores. The positives are completely overwhelming and should not
be ignored, besides being highly effective, with staggering results, there is
also the aspect of time management and huge cost savings with return on
investment reassured quickly. "
"We at Michael’s SUPA IGA are proud to join the ranks
of committed and responsible operators, who CARE… about OUR STAFF, OUR
CUSTOMERS, and the ENVIRONMENT… "
“For any supermarket operator, pest control is a fact of
life. Six months ago I installed the Pest Free electronic pest management system
to replace the traditional chemical based system and have been extremely happy
with the results.
It is a hassle free system that you just plug in, set and
forget. No more of those expensive monthly visits from the pest control
companies. The system is fully OHS compliant and has been proven effective over
10+ years which means some substantial cost savings over that period.
I have no hesitation in recommending this method of pest
control to any other supermarket operators.”
On behalf of all at our club. I would like
to say thank you very much for your assistance in helping us to solve those
pesky little ants problems. Your donation of the second devise is much
appreciated.
“This is to state that we, Wijesiri Danthanarayana and Dr
John Milburn, as Professor of Zoology and Professor of Botany respectively at
the University of New England, NSW carried out experiments to evaluate Pest Free
electromagnetic devices for controlling pests in the years 1996 and 1997. We
agreed to conduct such experiments on the Pest Free devices for scientific
curiosity, to see if the devices worked. The results obtained are genuine
findings with properly designed experiments. All experimental data were analysed
using accepted statistical methods. The findings as reported were authentic, and
we stand by our results and conclusions.
“Our results conclusively showed that Pest Free devices
reduced food consumption in rats and this was shown to be statistically
significant as well as consistent. We also found that there were statistically
significant increases in the consumption of water in rats and mice.
“Further research I carried out in 2003 on re-analyses of
data from the US-EPA (Environmental Protection Authority of the USA) Report
published in March 1979 confirmed our findings and conclusions that food and
water consumption of rodents are adversely affected by electromagnetic pest
control devices.
“The above findings are supported by published work in
recognized scientific literature over the past 10 or more years on the influence
of electromagnetic forces on rodents. We are, therefore, able to conclude that
rodents would suffer loss of appetite and increased thirst thereby disrupting
their normal behaviour and reproduction if exposed to electromagnetic forces of
the type used in Pest Free devices.
“In view of the above findings we believe that Pest Free
electromagnetic devices would be of benefit in rodent pest control situations.”

“Dear Mr Connell, President, Pest Free Australia
“The Administration Building had a problem with mice and rats
eating data and communication cabling installed therein.
“In the past, pest exterminators were engaged to distribute
baits throughout the building in an attempt to eliminate the problem. This
treatment was found to be time consuming and dangerous.
“I have been continually looking for other methods of
treating this problem and when Mr Connell approached me and recommended I trial
Pest Free I was sceptical however willing to trial this system. After two years
of using Pest Free the problem has been eliminated and other benefits have been
gained as well.
“I would recommend Pest Free to other councils and
businesses.
I thank Mr Connell for introducing me to this easy to use,
free of chemicals and environmentally friendly product.
“Cockroach infestation has been a problem at this school for
many years. Conventional methods of pest control have been used to little
lasting effect. The cost during this time has been quite significant.
“When approached by Pest Free representatives to install
their plug-in pest deterrents, we readily agreed to try them.
“As their representatives claimed, it was several weeks
before the effects were noticeable. At night the difference was particularly
obvious with only the old pest to be seen, whereas in the past cockroaches were
in plague proportions.
“The Pest Free units are doing sterling service at this
school. Cockroaches are under control, valuable dollars are being saved for
educational pursuits and chemical sprays are no longer being used on these
premises.
“Over a period of many years this school has spent hundreds
(more likely thousands) of dollars on chemical treatments to eradicate a serious
cockroach problem. These treatments provided temporary relief but the massive
infestation returned all too quickly.
“On a trial basis, we installed just 3 Pest Free electronic
units to monitor the effect. After 2 months use the results can only be
described as dramatic. We rarely see a cockroach in the areas treated and the
ones seen appear to be in a most unhealthy state.
“I have no hesitation in saying that the units have been
extremely effective in this school. We have, in fact, been so impressed that we
have placed an order for a further 7 units to extend the cover to include all of
our ground floor rooms.
“I feel quite confident that the Pest Free units are the most
cost effective means of pest eradication currently available, because they work!
“Protec has been in operation since 1982, and over the past
10 years we have noted, with other pest control professionals, an increased
difficulty in ridding premises of mice using conventional pest control methods,
particularly in central city locations.
“There have been many reasons put forward for this, bait
shyness, bait avoidance, behavioural resistance, and dietary preferences
affected by the variety and amounts of food available to mice, particularly as a
result of the growth in fast food outlets, resulting in increased use of
trapping for control.
“The use of traps, and glue boards in particular, is emotive
and time consuming and expensive when carried out overnight to minimise staff
and customer complaints.
“We have seen and heard the claims of suppliers and
distributors of non-pesticide devices and have tested them with no obvious
benefit, and our trade association takes action when unsubstantiated claims are
made to protect consumers.
“Since we have installed Pest Free units in our customers’
premises, often as a last resort where we have been desperate to maintain
confidence with customers, we have noted dramatic reductions in rodent activity,
in many cases with no further sightings after the initial settling-in period.
“There is a clear response to these units when installed in
accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines, and providing adequate standards
of maintenance and hygiene are maintained, in our experience the effect is long
term, and we are pleased to be associated with the Pest Free organisation in the
UK, and would be happy to discuss their potential where all other methods of
rodent control have failed.
“Yours faithfully
David Nubel, Director, Protec Pest &
Hygiene Services Ltd.”
“I have been advised by Austrade that your organisation
recently received a grant under the Export Market Development Grants (EMDG)
scheme.
“Austrade determined the amount of your grant after
assessment of your organisation’s grant application in accordance with the
provisions of the EMDG Act 1997. I understand that Austrade has already
forwarded details of its grant amount calculations directly to you.
“As the Minister responsible for the EMDG scheme, I would
like to congratulate you on your success in receiving this grant.
“The Government strongly supports the EMDG scheme and
recently legislated to extend the scheme for a further five years, as well as to
make a number of improvements to it. Details of these changes can be found on
Austrade’s website at www.austrade.gov.au.
“I sincerely hope that the grant will assist you in
furthering your export initiatives, and that it conveys to you in a tangible
fashion the high regard in which both the Government and the Australian
community hold our “export champions”.
“Yours sincerely
Mark Vaile, Minister for Trade, Deputy
Leader of the National Party of Australia”
“For the past twelve years at our factory in the Lad Prao
district of Bangkok, we have had a terrible problem with rats.
“The factory is 18,000 sq ft over 6 levels and although we
have tried many different methods of pest control over the years including
trapping, poison, and poison baits, after a period of time, these were
non-effective.
“The rat colony continued to grow and when we purchased the
12 Plug in Pest Free units, I would estimate that the infestation would be
between 300 to 400 rats throughout the building.
“With a certain amount of scepticism we started the program,
and at first there appeared to be very little happening. However, in the third
week, there was a tremendous amount of activity with rats moving around
throughout the factory. Over the next four weeks less and less rats were seen
until after two and a half months, only on the fourth level were there a few
left.
“Now three months later, we no longer have any, and the
product has deterred others from settling. This was not a small problem and has
taken time to clear but has been completely successful.
“We now have a wonderful rat free environment, and can
thoroughly recommend Plug in Pest Free as a product that has been most effective
in ridding us of rats.
“Our home at Sylvania is a very large old sandstone house.
Despite exhaustive pest control measures including toxic spraying surface
chemicals etc. we could not eliminate spiders.
“One morning in 1995 I was listening to Alan Jones on 2UE
when he interviewed someone from your company who described the method you have
adopted in attacking unwanted entrenched vermin and insects which impressed me
as being exactly what I needed.
“I ordered 8 units in October 1995 and it’s proved to be the
best thing I have ever done as regards the elimination of pests on a permanent
basis. We are absolutely delighted with the result. After the first few weeks we
noticed the almost daily experience of spiders appearing on our walls had
subsided.
“Although there is no indication that the units are nearing
their “use by” date, I do not want to be in a position where I am without them.
Therefore I wish to repeat my order plus I wish to order an additional five
units for my son and his family who live next door.
“Congratulations on an excellent product which performed as
good as the advertising material indicated it would.
“This is to confirm that we have been using an electronic
Pest Free repellent, provided us by MYSODET on 14th August 1996, as a test run
for the product.
“We are pleased that it has proved to be more effective than
other methods used hitherto, besides being environmentally-friendly. Mysodet
officials have also been studying the patterns of crawling insects and rodent
movement in areas under scrutiny and we have found that these repellents are
proving to be effective, though the study will have to continue, to incorporate
all seasons of the year.
“We strongly recommend the continued use of these products as
a focussed attempt at environmentally-friendly measures of pest control versus
the current methods of using harsh chemical pollutants adopted by most pest
control agencies.

Universal Paper & Plastics (BOP) Pty Ltd, South Africa
“Dear Barbara
“Just a note to let you know that since we have purchased and
installed the Pest Free units in our factory and office areas, we have not seen
any rodents or cockroaches in these areas. We are monitoring the effect of these
units constantly as, being a paper converter, we have a very large stock of
finished paper product and raw materials, and we cannot afford to relax our
vigilance. Rats and mice are definitely not welcome in our stores as they can
cause great damage with resulting financial losses.
“We would definitely replace these units if and when
necessary and have no hesitation in recommending them for the uses as advertised
in your brochures.
“Thank you for your assistance and co-operation.
“Yours faithfully
B Sher, Director, Universal Paper &
Plastics (BOP) (Pty) Ltd, South Africa”
